Marc is a barrister on the Meldrum and Hyland List.

Marc completed his articles of clerkship at Minter Ellison in 2002 where he worked in the Project and Corporate Finance and Insurance and Corporate Risk groups, taking a special interest in professional indemnity, product liability and personal injury law. Major clients included Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee, the Department of Education and some of Australia’s largest, publicly listed insurance companies.

Marc received his Bachelor of Laws (with first class honours) from the University of Melbourne. He has received several scholarships and prizes in his brief academic career, including the Centenary Scholarship from Ormond College (its most prestigious academic award), a Melbourne Abroad Scholarship to study in France, an Australian Postgraduate Award to fully fund his Masters project, and the Corrs Chambers Westgarth Prize for Competition Law.  In 2010 he had the feature article in the Law Institute Journal, which examined the role of contract law in the landmark High Court decision of Tabet v Gett.

Marc has appeared in matters the Magistrates’, County, Supreme and Coroner’s Courts of Victoria, the Federal and Federal Magistrates’ Courts of Australia, as well as the Family Court and VCAT. Amongst other clients he has represented major banks and other large listed companies.

As well as commercial law, Marc also practices in family (property and children’s matters) law, property and de facto property law, negligence, and probate law.
